Casa Grande Ruins

The day after Thanksgiving I talked the guys into going to the Casa Grande Ruins since we were in town visiting my mother-in-law. I love history, and since Jace is studying the Hohokam Indians of the region, I thought it'd tie in great. Here are some pictures!

$600 wreath!

the Humane Society of Yuma has a Festival of Trees each year. Patrons donate wreaths and decorated trees to raise funds for shelter animals. My husband and I both volunteer, and he played Santa while I made a few wreaths. My wreaths were on the plain side compared to some of the awesome ones! The big jingle bell rustic wreath went for $600!!! Six hundred bones ... but for a very worthwhile cause! I am partial to Santa and his little brown eyed helper, too!

I can't believe my sweet niece, Jalie, is TWO already! Time has flown by so quickly. She turned two years old on October 8th. She has the spunkiest personality and wants to be Miss Independent!
